And then there's the research list, which doesn't fully make sense unless you know me: commodity hedging sits right next to orca pod structure and tiger conservation economics. I didn't plan for finance and wildlife ecology to share a shelf. They just do. The rest, typed up properly, below.
I'm Diya Hardik Shah — the H is for Hardik, after my father — a final-year Economics & Finance student at Ahmedabad University. Most weeks I live somewhere between spreadsheets and speaker sessions.
That got real at Deloitte, building pitch decks for live M&A mandates and a full valuation model for one active deal. The first time a DCF model of mine had actual consequences attached to it — I liked that more than expected.
Outside of coursework I run toward things with too many moving parts: sponsorships, club budgets, speaker curation. I like operations. Leadership that's mostly logistics wearing a nicer title.
